CF Application Runtime PMC: Networking Project Lead Call for Nominations
Hi, everyone,
Shannon Coen, the lead for the Networking project within the Application Runtime PMC, has stepped down from the project, as he recently left VMware. We thank him for his extensive leadership in and service to the Cloud Foundry community since its earliest
days.
The Networking team now has an opening for its project lead. Project leads must be nominated by a Cloud Foundry Foundation member. Please send nominations directly to me or in reply to this message no later than 11:59 PM PDT on Wednesday, April 7, 2021.
Also, if you have any questions about the role or the nomination process, as described in the CFF governance documents (https://www.cloudfoundry.org/governance/cff_development_operations_policy/), please let me know.
Thanks,
Eric Malm, CF Application Runtime PMC Lead |

Hi, everyone,
VMware is nominating Amelia Downs for the Networking Project Lead in the Application Runtime PMC.
Amelia has been a core contributor to Cloud Foundry since 2016. She joined the Container Networking team in Nov 2017, which then merged with the Routing team in Jan 2019. She still works as an engineer in those domains today. Prior to that she worked
on CAPI and Diego. She was a track co-chair for both 2020 CF Summits and is looking forward to seeing everyone in person again.
Thanks,
Eric MalmFrom: cf-dev@... <cf-dev@...> on behalf of Eric Malm via lists.cloudfoundry.org <emalm=vmware.com@...>

+1. Many thanks Shannon for your outstanding
product
leadership in key elements of the platform: first CF service API, then routing and finally networking. Thanks also for your patience dealing with my [sometimes too?] enthusiastic product suggestions. I'll also long remember how you contributed to focus towards this unique CF user experience, selecting key use-cases from customer evidence, as well as avoiding "premature optimizations". Looking back at the past years through design docs proposals , I realize how much
I learned from you and the awesome individuals and teams that contributed to the broad CF community.
It's amazing to see the ground covered
by this community. I wish you the best for your next projects. Guillaume. On Thu, Mar 25, 2021 at 9:40 AM Daniel Jones <daniel.jones@...> wrote:
