Hi All,

As we worked on better documenting how app usage events and service usage
events work [1] in the cloud controller api, we uncovered that service
usage events do not currently expire events.

This was an unintended oversight and inconsistency as part of the
implementation of service usage events and I've created a story to expire
service usage events older than a configured number of days [2] in the same
way that app usage events currently expire.

I expect the CAPI team will take on this work some time in the next few
weeks and it will become available in a subsequent cf-release. We'll make
sure to clearly communicate this change in the release notes and I will
post a reminder to cf-dev about this change once it is available.
