Question about services on Cloud Foundry

James Bayer

it simply means that there is a Service Broker, and works in conjunction
with the "marketplace" so commands like "cf marketplace", "cf
create-service", "cf bind-service" and related all work with the service.
user provided services don't show up in the marketplace replated commands
and they don't have service plans, but they still work with bind/unbind.

Hi,

From the architecture point of view I understand that there are no service
explicitly associated with CF.

However, the following doc is very confusing:
http://docs.cloudfoundry.org/devguide/services/managed.html

Would be great if some one can explain the meaning of manages services her.

Thanks,
Kinjal
