CFI-914: update yaml2json in iacbox
Stephan Weber
Hi,
I got your email addresses from https://github.tools.sap/cf-live-realm/central-station/blob/master/product-inventory_eu2.json.
With https://jtrack.wdf.sap.corp/browse/CFI-914 we are about to update yaml2json in the iacbox. For this all occurrences of ‘<<:‘
in yaml files or code which produces yaml files must be replaced by ‘<<<:‘ .. three instead of two `<` characters.
Please check your products and provide fixes during this sprint. It would be nice if you could add a note to https://sap-cp.slack.com/archives/C897FG0TC when you’re done. We plan to update iacbox on Tuesday Nov 3rd. If you’re not able to adapt your product but elsewhere use ‘<<:‘ within you must not use newer iacbox versions in your landscape/jobs then.
Best regards, Stephan

Hi folks, I'd like to share that I am stepping down from my role as CF PMC Council Chair. Tomorrow, October 28th, is my last day at VMware, and I'll be taking a month off before starting on a new adventure, in a galaxy not so far away. The Cloud Foundry community has been extremely welcoming and has felt like a home to me since I first got involved way back in July of 2014. It's been truly amazing to be a part of this community for the past 6 years going from cf-release to cf-deployment and now onto KubeCF and cf-for-k8s. Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful times, memories, and friendships. I am so excited to see this next phase of Cloud Foundry take off and I'll be cheering loudly from the sidelines. -Dieu Cao |

Re: CF Application Runtime PMC: Eirini Project Lead Call for Nominations
Simon D Moser
Hi, everyone,
IBM is nominating Julian Skupnjak for the Eirini project lead in the Application Runtime PMC. Julian has worked on Cloud Foundry since 2017, serving as an engineer and later on as the anchor on the Eirini team. For the last few months Julian already took over the role as PM, replacing Dr .Julz during his parental leave. Stratos 4.2.0 Release
Richard Cox
Hi All,
It gives me great pleasure to announce Stratos 4.2.0.
This release includes the new Kubernetes and Helm extensions. These have been donated to the Cloud Foundry Foundation by SUSE and with this release are now part of upstream Stratos. What does this mean? You can now....
Full release notes are available from -
https://github.com/cloudfoundry/stratos/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md#420
We welcome your feedback, comments and bug reports. Please feel free to raise them in github (https://github.com/cloudfoundry/stratos) or reach out directly to us in slack (#stratos).
For those that would like to learn more about the new Kubernetes and Helm features we encourage attending one of our sessions at the upcoming Cloud Foundry Summit.

cf-for-k8s branch updates
Andrew Costa <ancosta@...>
Hello cf-for-k8s users of cf-dev,
As part of the preparation for the 1.0 release of cf-for-k8s, the Release Integration team is making some changes to the branches of the repository. This may require action for consumers of the repository the rely on either of the changing branches.
We don't expect this to be a particularly disruptive change for our current users but do expect CI resources consuming the repository by the default or `master` branch instead of release tags will need to be updated to consume the `main` branch.
If you have any concerns, please reach out to us in the #cf-for-k8s slack channel.
Thanks,
Andrew and Dave (CF Release Integration team)
