Re: Retain CF org, space, space and org quota settings.

Hi Guru,

You can specify quotas in your manifest that will be seeded when you deploy
[1] and specify a default quota that will be used for orgs and spaces if no
quota is specified [2].

Assigning non-default quotas to orgs and spaces is something that needs to
be done via API after deploying and creating these resources. If you
absolutely need to backup and restore your Cloud Foundry, there are some
old threads on the mailing list describing approximate steps, however, this
requires quite a bit of effort [3].

Maybe tell us why you plan on deleting and redeploying your CF?

Hello Sunil,

Are you referring to bosh download manifest <your CF manifest> and use the
manifest to re-deploy.

In that the settings doen through the CF CLI will be lost. I need a way to
retain those settings by adding them in teh CF manifest.

take the snapshot of the mainfest file and also the entire CF you created

during fresh installation you can pass teh mainfest file as parameter
which will take care of settings and no need to re-configure again...

If we decide to delete and redeploy the CF, all these settings would be
