upload custom windows stemcell issue

Hi folks,

When I was trying upload custom windows server 2012R2 stemcell I got the error like this: image-tar: disk1.vmdk: wrote only 7680 of 10240 bytes.
My stemcell tar file size is 12 GB. I have increased client_mac_body_size in the ngnx.conf and blobstore.conf at the director. Which did I stick in the limitation?

best regards

Hi,

Without seeing the full error message, you may want to start by making sure that the ephemeral disk of your director is sufficiently large enough to receive the large stemcell file (+ some overhead, and it might store an additional copy of the image on disk while it's processing).

If increasing the size of ephemeral disk doesn't help, can you please provide the full error message that you're seeing?

Danny
