Deploy on openstack

Hi all!
I saw CloudFoundry only support OpenStack with F,G and H release。But these are too old, the version H is released on 2013.2.4。 Does CloudFoundry suppport some new version of OpenStack such as Juno or IceHouse?

Hi,
yes we are running an installation on Liberty here, without any issues.

Hey there, where did you see this? Do we have some documentation that is
out of date?

Thanks,
Amit

As another data point, we are running on Kilo and nova-network (no
Neutron) without issues. Our OpenStack deployment recipes are at

Hi,

thanks for the reminder of the current deficiencies in the land of Bosh/Cloud Foundry and OpenStack. :)

Cloud Foundry is known to work on the newer OpenStack Releases as well. We have an installation on Kilo with neutron networking. However, the Bosh OpenStack CPI is currently not tested continuously against the newer releases [1]. The open-source version of Cloud Foundry might also be installed continuously on a more recent version of OpenStack; Amit is probably able to comment on that.

We're in the process of establishing new pipelines for the Bosh OpenStack CPI against the recent three OpenStack releases and we'll add them to the official pipeline once they're ready. We'll adapt the documentation accordingly.

Warm regards
Marco

The most recent information I know is available in the bosh.io docs [1] and mentions Havana, Icehouse, and Juno.

Coincidentally, the CF Release Integration team's top story next week is to
change our main CI pipeline's OpenStack environment from a third-party
provider to an OpenStack environment maintained by the Pivotal Toolsmiths
team. https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/109658924. The new
environment is Kilo.

Best,
Amit
