Re: redeploy bosh director

If you deploy again (not bosh-init delete), all the data should remain on
the detached disk, which is reattached after the deployment if I remember
correctly.

Hi,
Thanks for your suggestion.
Redeploying deletes all my current deployments metadata.
How can I redeploy without losing existing data and also reuse director
uuid?
I donot want to destroy and recreate everything.

Hi,

You need to redeploy bosh using bosh-init if you change project name.

Thanks

Dear Experts,

I recently changed my "project_name" in openstack and since then, my
"bosh cck" fails with below error.
openstack cli's work fine with new project_name and credentials. So,
this boils down to bosh.

1. Where does bosh store its openstack/IaaS credentials.
2. How can i update bosh cache.
3. how do i download bosh manifest. ( for deployments i do "bosh download
manifest <deployment>")
